CONGRATULATIONS
to Elyse Schriber on the
purchase of Stella!! Elyse will
be boarding at Sorrows End,
and we're so thrilled to have
her joining us!
Sorrows End Farm recently
attended local Fox Hollow
Horse Show in Bristol, TN.
Emily and Brandy placed
Reserve Champion in both
their divisions, sporting a 1st
and several seconds. It was
Brandy's first horse show (at
17 years old!), and we are all
very proud.
LC and Scotch entered two
classes, and pinned second
place in both. This was THEIR
first show in 5 years, and we
are very proud of them too!
Pictures coming soon.
Welcome to Laura Lyttle and
"Mae," (below) who are now
boarding at Sorrows End.
We're glad to have them here!
Emily Slagle of Bluff City,
Tenn., one of our regular
students, riding Brandy
(below). Emily and Brandy
are really schooling well
together, and we hope to
take Brandy to her first (!)
horse show in June for Emily
to compete on.

"Nikko" Awesome eventing prospect!
**PRICE REDUCED!**
A 7-year-old (2001), solid 16.1 hand dark
bay/brown TB gelding, "Nikko" (which means
"Sunshine" in Japanese), is very handsome,
athletic and eyecatching with a lovely build. He is
sound for any discipline. "Nikko" was raced lightly,
and is a great eventer, dressage, foxhunter or
jumper prospect, or is suitable for any career. He's
smart, affectionate, and has a wonderful attitude
about work. This guy is awesome and keeps
getting better with training.
Nikko is schooling flat nicely, has automatic lead
changes, and is jumping up to 3'6" easily , with
plenty of scope to move up. He is jumping cross
country fences readily -- he is honest to the fences
and loves jumping. He has wonderful natural
impulsion and really uses his hindquarters --he
has that walk that dressage riders are looking for!
He hacks out quietly and loves to go cross country.
Nikko has the potential to develop into a serious
competitor. Great build, solid bone, good feet.
Excellent ground manners, clips, bathes, loads,
etc. No vices, no injuries, and sound.
$8,500/neg
Price reduced to $6,500!

**SOLD!!!**
"River Gent" Fancy, quiet young hunter prospect
River Gent is a 3-year-old (2005) TB gelding has
been started and trained at Sorrows End. This guy
has lovely conformation, is very cute and friendly
and a lovely mover. He is definitely an 'in your
pocket' kind of horse! A wonderful prospect for
someone looking for a nice, young project to bring
along.
River Gent has been lightly started under saddle,
and is currently schooling the very basics. He is
also walking and trotting calmly over ground
poles. He's got a wonderful attitude, loves
attention, and is an eager learner. He's been very
amiable to his training and quiet to ride. He is
absolutely adorable, and currently stands just a
hair under 16 hands and is still growing.
This horse never raced (nor did he train to race)
and has lots of potential -- he's well-bred (by
Valiant Nature, o/o Argentario) and has a nice,
athletic build. He is an adorable, athletic
hunter/jumper prospect. Should make a great
jumper.
** New pictures under saddle coming soon!
$12,000/negotiable, price will increase with
training.

Ondulee, a five-year-old, 17.2 hand gray TB mare,
is offered for sale by Sutton Place Farm, located at
Roan Mountain, Tenn.
Ondulee received her off-the-track training at
Sorrows End, and was one of our easiest retrains
ever! This girl is very quiet and level-headed,
especially for one so young. She is a big girl;
plenty of bone and very solid. She is a nice mover
and was only lightly raced. She has potential in
any discipline -- she should make a lovely hunter,
eventer or foxhunter. A very sensible young mare
that is ready for miles.
$15,000

information at 423-772-3772 or email

"Clarion" **New Arrival!!*
Clarion is a 2-year-old TB gelding who already
stands 16 hands tall! Clarion has never raced or
trained for racing, and is training at Sorrows End
for his future career.
Clarion has only been here a few days, but already
he shows the level-headed, easy-going attitude
that I have come to expect from the horses bred by
Sutton Place Farm (see links). He stepped of the
trailer unflustered, has settled right in, and his he
was interested but very calm his first day under
saddle. We are really looking forward to bringing
this one along - he'll be big, solid and
good-minded like his half-sister, Ondulee (below,
also trained at Sorrows End.)
More information and newer pictures coming soon.
